Dr. Ali currently leads analytical development within R&D and Quality Control at Medcura. He brings 13 years of experience in fundamental research and development of formulations, structure-property analysis, and related analytical methods across academia, industry, and US government labs. Prior to joining Medcura, Dr. Ali served as a scientist at Becton Dickinson's Technology Innovation Center in RTP, North Carolina, focusing on developing hemostats and bioadhesives for surgical applications and related analytical methods. He holds a Ph.D. in soft materials science from the C.V. Raman Research Institute in Bangalore, India. Previously, he held research scientist roles at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Maryland, USA, and served as a senior scientist at the Indian Institute of Technology Mumbai. Dr. Ali has authored 13 research articles encompassing complex material formulations including colloids, synthetic polymers, biopolymers, topical emulsions, and instrumentation. Additionally, he has presented his research in 19 international conferences and served as a peer reviewer for over 70 scientific articles in esteemed international journals.
