J.P. brings significant experience providing pragmatic legal advice to fast-paced, fast-growing medical device manufacturers. He served as General Counsel for Biom’up USA, where he led all legal aspects of the U.S. business, helped establish their healthcare compliance program, and supported the successful launch of their surgical hemostat. Prior to that, he served as Business Development Counsel at Globus Medical, a publicly-traded, global manufacturer of spine implants and surgical navigation robots. There, he spearheaded diligence on several strategic transactions, including the $80 million acquisition of Alphatec's international business, and provided day-to-day counsel on the clinical and commercial development of several successful products. J.P. earned his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, PA) and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law (Baltimore, MD).
